Fitting service through Vloerenhal Montfoort

You buy your floor from us and we arrange the fitting with our regular fitting partners. So you have one point of contact, from the advice in our showroom to the laid and finished floor. If something does not go as agreed, you call us and we solve it.

Our fitting partners lay floors in the region every day and know the subfloors here: the old wooden upper floors in Utrecht, the concrete floors in the new-build areas of Leidsche Rijn and IJsselstein, and underfloor heating in the newer districts of Woerden.

What we have laid for you

  • Wooden floors: solid floorboards, engineered planks and engineered parquet, including herringbone
  • PVC floors: click, dryback (glue-down) and Silent Rigid Click, in straight planks or herringbone

  • Underlay and damp-proof membrane
  • Levelling the subfloor where needed
  • Removing and disposing of the old floor, as an extra service on quotation

If the subfloor needs levelling, add € 15 – € 25 per m²: € 600 – € 1,000 for 40 m², € 750 – € 1,250 for 50 m² and € 1,500 – € 2,500 for 100 m².

Where you end up within the range depends on:

  • The pattern: herringbone takes more time to lay than straight planks and is at the top of the range.
  • The subfloor: does it need levelling, and how thick? A tiled floor needs a primer first.
  • The old floor: removal and disposal are not included in the fitting price. We can do this for you as an extra service on quotation, or you do it yourself.
  • Transitions: thresholds and profiles to other rooms. We fit the skirting boards as standard.

How it works

  1. You choose your floor in our showroom in Montfoort or online, with personal advice. No appointment needed.
  2. You receive one quote for the floor and the fitting, including any levelling and fitting the skirting boards.
  3. We plan the work with you and our fitting partner. Because our range is in stock, the fitting can usually take place within one to three weeks.
  4. Once the old floor is out (by yourself or through our extra service on quotation), the subfloor is prepared, your floor is laid and the skirting boards are fitted.
  5. You inspect the floor together with the fitter; we remain your point of contact, also afterwards.

Yes. Our fitting partners work in Utrecht, Woerden, IJsselstein, Nieuwegein, Oudewater and the surrounding villages every week. Outside the region we fit floors throughout the Netherlands; for longer distances we charge travel costs, which you see in the quote in advance.

Laying PVC costs € 15 to € 25 per m², laminate € 15 to € 18 per m² and a wooden floor € 25 to € 35 per m², including fitting the skirting boards. If the subfloor needs levelling, add € 15 to € 25 per m². You receive one quote in advance with a fixed total.

Yes. Fitting the skirting boards is included as standard. Removing and disposing of the old floor is not included in the fitting price. We can arrange this for you as an extra service on quotation, or you do it yourself. The quote states exactly what we do and what it costs.

Often yes, especially with dryback PVC: it shows every unevenness. With click PVC, laminate and wood, a small unevenness can be absorbed by the underlay. Our fitting partner assesses this on site. Levelling costs € 15 to € 25 per m². Read more about levelling for PVC (in Dutch).

Because our range is in stock, the fitting can usually take place within one to three weeks of your approval. If levelling is needed first, add the drying time of the levelling compound, usually one to three days.
