Oak floors are a timeless addition to any interior. With their natural beauty, durability and versatility, they suit both modern and classic styles. Whether you are looking for a warm look in your living room or a robust floor for busy areas, oak offers an elegant and practical solution.
With dedication and close attention to detail, Vloerenhal Montfoort has selected the finest European oak and had it processed in the Netherlands. All this to achieve the best end result and to offer a new oak floor of Dutch quality at a competitive price.
Unlike other floor coverings, an oak floor gives a warm and lively look. That is because every plank is unique, just like the tree it was made from. It gives an oak floor a character of its own, especially European oak, which is known for its dark pattern in knots and grain. European oak also grows slowly because of the colder climate. Because European oak trees grow more slowly, the wood is also much harder.
A European oak floor has a natural look, unlike some other floor coverings. Wood is lively, warm and naturally beautiful. An asset and eye-catcher in any interior. We sell various oak floorboards: engineered oak planks, solid oak floorboards and engineered parquet planks. Beautiful products, with something for everyone and a suitable plank for every room. At Vloerenhal Montfoort we keep European oak floors and our entire range in stock at all times, so we can deliver very quickly. All prices include VAT and are ‘from’ prices, only in combination with the purchase of underlay, skirting boards and oil. If you do not need these, we can still make you an attractive offer. An oak floor including fitting is also possible.
Our engineered oak planks are built up from several layers glued crosswise. On top of this multi-layer structure sits a top layer of high-quality solid oak. Thanks to this construction, the wood is much less affected by its natural movement. This makes the floor ideally suited for rooms with underfloor heating.
Our solid oak planks come ready-sanded, with tongue and groove on all sides and anti-cupping grooves. A quality plank no less than two centimetres thick. Available in three grades, so you have plenty of choice.
Our engineered planks, solid floorboards and engineered parquet planks can all be treated in any colour you like. You can choose from various colours of hardwax oil. In our showroom you can see the different wood species, grades and finishes. A handy DIYer can easily lay an oak floor. We also offer a fitting service, so you can leave the laying of your floor to a professional.
To enjoy your new wooden floor for as long as possible, it is important to maintain it well. With the right products and the right care, you will enjoy your floor for a lifetime. This prevents damage, scratches and stains. Vloerenhal Montfoort will gladly advise you on maintenance.
All our wood is imported directly from Europe, and our suppliers work according to the international conditions of PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). These labels stand for sustainability and responsible forest management, and also set requirements for working conditions. This means the floor you buy from us is legal and sustainable. All prices include VAT and are ‘from’ prices, only in combination with the purchase of underlay, skirting boards and oil. If you do not need these, we can still make you an attractive offer.
